With Autumn comes new flowers in the garden. We love these last stragglers at the party of summer, waltzing in to surprise us with their lasting beauty, their bold colors among the red and golden leaves trickling slowly from the sky.

Japanese Anemone are one of our favorites. A wild rose quality mixed with a mini-dogwood edge, this flower is a beauty and did you know has health benefits? Tinctures have been made from several varieties of Anemones for years for anxiety treatment.

Botanica Etc

We are spending so much less time on Instagram and more outside relishing in the season shifts and getting the garden ready for Winter. But from time to time we poke back in and find ourselves drawn to visually calming accounts like Botanica Etcetera.

Focus formula mimics the sensation of spending time in brisk forested areas, clearing your mind. Broad spectrum hemp extract is enhanced by vegetation that thrives together in woodland bioregions.

What We’re Reading

Garden People: The Photographs of Valerie Finnis

We are usually in the garden when we aren't working. And this book is a visual delight on all things garden fashion. It's that time when we prepare for winter, fire pits glowing while we rake and pull weeds. Rosy cheeks and our favorite hat; Garden Fashion is the new athleisure.

NOURISHING OUR BODY

nectar

A blend of botanicals, fruit extracts and essential oils makes this velvety oil so luscious and the ultimate in self care. Apply small amounts to areas such as face, neck, décolletage, elbows, and any areas that need a little extra care to lock in moisture. The scents of honeyed jasmine combined with rose geranium are euphoric.

Sweet Dumpling Squash

Simply sprinkle with brown sugar and butter, and roast at 400 degrees for 20 minutes covered in foil. Scrape lightly with a fork to fluff the squash into string and pile on plate. Packed with Vitamin B And fiber. Hearty, cozy, and easy.
